Mowed greens for the first time in a while yesterday. We took all the covers off and put them up for the rest of the year.
This rain we are getting today is killing us. My list continues to get longer and longer of things that we need to complete before opening the greens, but cant get very far on it because of the wet conditions. At least the amigos get here April 1st. When they get here, hopefully the place will be dried out enough to get some serious work done.
Greens look good after a good mowing and I will continue to slowly drop the height and increase the other maintenance on them to get them ready to open this late spring.

Bridges
We still have to get all the old wood out from beside the bridges, but aside from that the bridges are completed. They look great.
Range cart path
The cart path expansion at the range has been completed. There should be plenty of room now for the carts. Once it dries out we still have to get out there and finish backfilling the edges and lay some sod.
Collars
The chemical application that we made around greens to clean up some of the bentgrass that germinates outside of the collar after seeding is starting to show some results. The goal is to maintain a clean edge of Bermuda against the bent collar.

Spraying greens
We sprayed greens yesterday with some fungicide and foliar fertilizer. We have had some cold weather brown patch start to pop up with the up and down temps.
We are going to put the covers back on a couple of greens today for a few days. After we remove the covers I will start to move the height of the greens down gradually. I will put a shot of granular fert down in about 1 week then follow that up a couple days later with a medium topdressing. This will help to even out any of the minor imperfections in the greens that start to show up once the cutting height starts to get lower and lower.

Wet course
Is kinda wet on the course right now. Hard to get things done when its this wet out. That being said we are working on re-doing all the floors at the shop.
