Spraying greens

We sprayed greens on Friday.  Had to ride spray them...out other sprayer broke down. Can't wait for that new sprayer!  Should be here in a few weeks.

I don't typically like to take the ride sprayer on greens, I like to walk spray them, but you have to do what you have to do.

Drainage working

The PC drainage on 14 is working. Pretty neat to see. The areas with the rope are dry enough to drive on and the other areas are still muddy wet. This pic was taken on Friday.

Rain

The rain hit again today. After all that snow and rain the course is unbelievably wet.  Starting to drive me crazy. Im ready to get things going!  

When it does start to dry out...lots of spraying and drainage work.

Growing grass

Mowed greens on Saturday. Got a decent amount of grass off of them. The growth should slow down with this colder weather.

Paint

The paint lioks good on the tees and fairways. It's been a constant project the last week to get everything painted. It looks a lot better after a few days on the ground and a mow to clean everything up. 

It's still really moist out there. I've noticed that a lot of the morning moisture on the roads is still there late into the afternoon in the shaded areas. This is part of the reason that things are slow to dry down. The humidity and limited daylight keeps drying time at a crawl. 

Course is looking good with this drier weather. We have limited staff this time of year, but it's nice to have some dry weather, allowing us to get some much needed work completed.

Leaves

Working on leaves today. It's finally dry enough to get the blowers out there in full force. 

Hopefully we can finish getting the place cleaned up tomorrow.
