PG2

We aerated PG2 this morning. I wanted to get it done a little earlier than the others to give it time to recover. Once it it recovered and grown in I will open it. We are taking a little more time with opening this one to make sure it is good and strong - I'm sure it will see its fair share of traffic this summer with the rest of the greens being closed.

Once all the new greens are done, we probably will not do this spring aeration on the new greens. There will be no organic matter build up because of the new mix. This green still has organic matter because we did not remove the mix and re-build it - it was planted on the existing mix.
