Sod prep and greens

We prepped for some sod around the putting green today. There was some common bermuda and some bentgrass in the zoysia. We cut it out and will replace tomorrow. This will give it a clean edge and keep that common from creeping into the green.

The greens and the bermuda grass has been slow going with these recent cold nights. The bermuda is orange and the greens haven't even thought about starting to recover after an aeration. It's important not to overreact and throw a bunch of fert this time of year to force growth.  That would have serious negative impacts once it does warm up. The thing to do is just leave them alone and wait for mother nature to start cooperating.
